As I have expressed before if I could change careers I would be an interior designer. The problem is that if you like MY taste we are all good. If you want me to like YOUR taste we are dead before we start. I won’t find a way to work your red leather lazy boy with cup holder into a room or those Walmart family photos in oak brown frames perfectly descending down your stairs. Sorry!

That said I thought sharing my decor ideas and things I do around Goat Hill Manor might be fun.

I have always loved colored glass. I have always loved balance. So here is a little taste of what I just did in our kitchen. I will tell you the cookbooks cost more than you will even know but color coordination is everything. Now if I just wanted to learn how to cook Peruvian Food….. (the book was pink).

Look at antique stores, flea markets and garage sales for cool depression glass!
