I Voted. Cuz he’s a serious shit show!

Like many Americans I have spent the last two years shaking my head, throwing shit at my TV, become way too familiar with the hosts of MSNBC, been embarrassed that this lying lunatic is our President. Between his thinner than thin skin, his bullying, his insults, his tweets, his poor judgement, his idiocy as it related to Russia, China and North Korea. To the shadiness that is basically who he is. I am sickened that Billy Bush got fired and this fuck-wit gets elected.

I never thought that I would have friends and family who I love dearly but just cannot understand for the life of me their support for him. I don’t even have the energy to debate it – nor is it particularly worth it.

I also never thought we would have a pathological liar for a President or that my friends would get their news from troll blogs with no legitimacy.

But it’s not just here, it’s all over the world. People have gone insane. Between suicide bombers, attacks on Embassies, attacks on Jews, a prince marrying a gorgeous commoner (ok so it’s not insane but wtf and why not me!) We seem to live in a constant 24 hour news cycle of bad shit happens every single day. Things seem par for the course these days. School shootings are beyond words – yet we pray and we remember but not long enough for change to happen. We march on Washington while Trump closes the curtains and eats McDonalds on his bed watching TV.

I said to my husband a few days ago that I thought we should build a wall around our house and start “canning” food- cuz in all the tornado, alien, storm, world killing shit happens in movies set in New York City – all the peoples start their walk up state. When he explained to me exactly what canning was – I puked in my mouth and said let’s plan B it.

We are living in crappy times. I am almost glad we don’t have kids – I don’t know if I could raise them in this insanity. Everyone running for office is a con-man, liar, could care less about you after they get elected and how is it that 100 politicians speak for 325 million people???

All I know is I voted today – for whatever that is worth. One voice plus many other one voices = change.

I did my part. I am proud I live in a country where I can vote.

Now I just hope I filled the circles in all the way!
