I love to decorate. I have been known to change paint colors monthly, bedding weekly and get ideas in the middle of the night that I want to execute in the AM and be done by the PM. I am obsessed with HGTV, Etsy, Overstock.com, Domino Magazine, Apartment Therapy, Instagram accounts of design. I could go on.
I get bored easily. I like change. I love the creativity and the chaos of getting it done in a day – maybe two.
I have decorated every home we have lived in. I love to mix “expensive” pieces with Target, Ebay and Flea Market finds. My favorite store in the world is Nadeau! especially Nadeau Paramus and Shea the Manager. She is my sister from another life. She is the BEST! I have owned every single Ikea sofa. I love to change Ikea furniture with knobs and paint.
My poor husband is so used to it by now – he often doesn’t even notice a change.
Having recently renovated an entire house from tile to fixtures – I posted a bunch of before and afters. Everyone was commenting on how much they would like me to do their houses. I of course said – happily!
Then a journalist reached out and asked if I would do a 3 part series for Cottages and Gardens! Uh I jumped on that request. So here is part 1 of 3…. and while I am still a publicist – I did buy Sammartindesigns.com (just in case…..)
